We started this journey back in April 2022. We hustled in labs, iterated formulas, and chased the perfect chemistry. We ground through years of R&D with nothing but belief and bootstrapped resolve. By late 2024, we finally got the equipment in and began turning concepts into hardware. 2025 was the year we transformed from lone wolves tinkering in the background to a full pack fighting in the arena.

The December Drop

In late December 2024, the equipment finally landed. It was just four of us, plus three SLTC interns, figuring out the early tech and pushing the factory setup forward. To that early crew: thank you for grinding when it was still just an idea and a bunch of boxes.

Survival in the Valley of Death

After that initial high from the December equipment drop, we slammed into the real "Valley of Death." Resources were thin, knowledge gaps were massive, and honestly, we felt completely lost. Simple mistakes that seem obvious in hindsight piled up. Processes that should have worked just… didn’t. Every day felt like we were fighting blind. It was dark, relentless, and brutally humbling.

But that’s exactly where we found our gear: through constant refinement, brutal lessons, and sheer refusal to quit. We didn’t just survive the valley; we somehow grew to love the grind. It forged us into something sharper.

The Wins

  • Venture Engine & Disrupt Asia: Our official "coming out party." We showed up and proved we were for real.

  • The Backing: Deep gratitude to NIRDC and the National Science Foundation. The grant funding was the lifeblood that kept the engine screaming.

  • Nanocaps in Norway: A massive partnership milestone. Super team, super tech. This is the step-leap in supercapacitor technology the world needs.

  • Academic Firepower: Our partnership with the University of Sri Jayewardenepura is wicked. The team there is incredible. They’re part of a growing network of global academic partnerships keeping our tech grounded in pure, cutting-edge science.

The Founder’s Mindset: All In

Total Commitment

This isn’t just "skin in the game." This is body, soul, and everything on the line. Personal loans, grants, 100% effort, and the absolute resolve to face whatever comes. I trust myself and my team to thrive on the fragile runway we’ve scratched together for 2026.

The Dunning-Kruger Reality

We probably only know 1% of what we need to. We’re at the peak of that curve, and we’re self-aware enough to stay hungry. We’re learning every single day and humbling ourselves when we get it wrong.

Aggression vs. Ego

We’re staying forward-thinking and aggressive, but we’re not getting arrogant. We’ve got the right people around us to give us the reality checks we need to stay sharp.

The Inner Circle

Shoutout to my co-founder Maithri for everything you’ve sacrificed and built into this journey, and to Nicoloy for the high-level support.

The Foundation

Huge respect to Vivek, our 2024 pre-seed investor. You backed the vision when it was just a spark.

Leading from the Front

To my team: I see the faith you’ve put in this mission. Many of you are grinding for a better life. I promise to lead from the front and build that path for all of us. We win together.

The "Outlier Edge"

Most people won't touch tech that has to move from the lab to the market. We are the outliers. The ones relentless enough to believe in the impossible until it becomes inevitable. Our Sri Lankan base gives us a killer edge in cost-effective precision manufacturing. We blend local talent and ingenuity with global partnerships like Nanocaps in Norway. This combo lets us innovate faster and cheaper than bigger players. We’re turning geographic "disadvantages" into our secret weapon for disrupting the supercapacitor space.

But make no mistake: bridging lab breakthroughs to scalable production is brutal. We're still in the early innings of that fight.

2026: Lock and Load

Scaling Up

We’re moving to a new facility and shifting into precision energy storage manufacturing. This is where the real work and the real risks start. We’ll tackle new high-tech machinery, proprietary hardware, total process optimization, and turning prototypes into reliable volume.

The 100k Order

We’re prepping for a 100,000-unit order goal. It’s ambitious, it’s on the horizon, and we’re building the capacity to hit it the second the opportunity locks in. No guarantees, but we're all-in.

To Our Partners

If you win, we win. Simple as that. We are here as a resource for you. If there’s anything you need to scale or solve, just ask. We are ready to jump in and make it happen together.

Final Word

We get advice from everywhere. Thank you to everyone who has spoken into this journey. We’re taking the best bits and building this puzzle piece by piece. To those watching and supporting: thank you. I’ll keep the updates honest and raw.

The road is long, the stakes are high, and we're just getting started. But we’re going all-in. It’s going to be a hell of a show.

The Future of Energy Storage

As we look ahead, the future of energy storage is bright. With our innovative approach, we aim to revolutionize the industry. Our supercapacitors will have four times the energy capacity at half the cost. This will drive down global energy expenses and combat climate change. We’re committed to making affordable, clean power accessible to everyone.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey!
